Laura Palumbo is a Connecticut-based painter whose work draws inspiration from photography, travel, and the expressive traditions of Chinese ink painting. After studying Art History at Yale University, she began her formal painting practice at the Creative Arts Workshop in 2012. Her exploration of Chinese ink painting has remained an important influence on her artistic development, informing both her technique and creative perspective.
Laura’s paintings have been exhibited throughout Connecticut, including at the Guilford Arts Center, Branford Arts Cultural Alliance, Thames River Gallery in Westport, Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook, a juried show at the Mystic Art Museum in Mystic, CT and a solo show at the River Street Gallery in New Haven CT though December 2026.
